Description
This Skull design is inspired by the 1927 film Metropolis. This iconic science-fiction film was heavily influenced by the Art Deco design movement of the ’20s. Art Deco is a vibrant mix of highly decorative patterns of Ancient Egypt and the bold geometric forms of Cubism! This “retro-style” is blended perfectly with modern materials to create the tension between past and future.

Questions and Answers
What inspired the Metropolis Skull Ring?
Fritz Lang’s 1927 film Metropolis and the Art Deco movement that shaped it. The crown of the skull is built from stepped, tower-like Deco forms.
How is it made?
The design begins as a 3D sculpt in our studio, is printed in resin for evaluation, then cast in sterling silver using lost wax casting. Every ring is finished by hand in Los Angeles.
Can I order a size that is not listed?
