Every Ether Eleven piece is designed and made in Los Angeles by founders Mike Zagha and Vlad Galat. We work in small batches, so each design receives the time it needs. This page describes how a piece moves from an idea to a finished object.
Concept
Each collection begins with a theme. We build mood boards to set the aesthetic tone, then move into sketches and 3D explorations. Our background in VFX and 3D scanning shapes this stage, and some designs are expanded through AI driven ideation, which lets us explore hundreds of variations before committing to one.
Refinement
We share working designs with our community on social media and refine them based on what resonates. The selected designs are then 3D printed in resin so we can evaluate them in hand: proportions, weight, and how they sit on the body. Designs often go through several printed iterations before they are approved.
Casting
Finalized designs are cast in solid sterling silver .925 using the lost wax process, a craft that has been practiced and honed for nearly 6,000 years. Casting in small batches keeps quality under our direct control.
Finishing
Each cast piece is finished by hand. Depending on the design this includes filing, polishing, texturing, and oxidizing to bring out depth in the details. Stones and pearls are set and strung by hand. No two hand finished pieces are exactly alike.
Sizing and custom requests
Most rings can be made in other sizes upon request. Use the contact page to ask about sizing or a custom variation of an existing design.
